Vickie Wong is the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Cisco, where she leads the company’s Controllership organization. In this capacity, she oversees Cisco’s global accounting and reporting functions and ensures the integrity of its financial controls. Her responsibilities span a wide range of critical areas, including revenue recognition, supply chain accounting, leasing, Cisco Capital accounting, mergers and acquisitions, and treasury operations. Vickie also manages SEC filings, international statutory reporting, and Cisco’s sustainability controllership initiatives. She provides global governance leadership for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and financial controls, while also spearheading financial operations such as payroll, travel and expense management, collections, and accounts payable.

Over her 18-year tenure at Cisco, Vickie has led numerous strategic initiatives, earning recognition for excellence in financial accounting practices, reporting, acquisition integration, and the implementation of new accounting standards. Her leadership has been instrumental in ensuring Cisco maintains best-in-class financial practices and compliance.

Prior to joining Cisco, Vickie was an Audit Partner at KPMG, where she worked extensively with clients in the financial services industry. Additionally, she spent four years in KPMG’s national office in a risk management role, providing technical accounting and auditing guidance to field offices.

Vickie currently serves as a Board Member of Financial Executives International, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing the profession. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in California.
